Deepfake on Mobile: Step-by-Step Guide Using Google Colab
Here is a detailed tutorial with screenshots about how to use this code to deepfake videos on your mobile phone usin Google colab for free.
Open your mobile phone web browser and make sure you are logged in with your gmail.
In this tutorial I am using android phone and Opera web browser app.
Open the Google Colab DeepFake Videos :
Click HereAnd run Step 1
this window will appear, Tap Run Anyway
Step 1 will start working. In this step we are installing the program on google colab.
this step takes approximately 5 to 6 minutes
After step 1 is finished, a small green checkmark will appear next to the step, and the word "Installed" will be printed.
Now step 2. In this step we will upload our face image. Run step 2.
A "choose files" button will appear, Tap it and upload the face image from your mobile phone.
When the upload is complete, a preview of the uploaded image will appear to you.
Then step3, In this step we will upload our target video.
The target video must have one face on it, and the face must be clear and facing the camera in all video duration.
This code works only on human faces. Don't use cartoon faces.
It is recommended to use videos not linger than 30 seconds to reduce the face swapping process and reduce the risk of google colab disconnects.
Run step 3.
A "Choose files" button will appear, tap it and upload you target video.
After uploading the target video, a preview will appear.
No step 3. In this step we will do the face swapping process.
This step takes time according to the target video.
Run step 4.
The program will start working
When it is finished, a small green checkmark will appear next to the step
Now step 5. In this step we will preview the final video and download it. Run step 5.
To download the face swapped video, tap these 3 dots.
Then tap "Download" and save the face swapped video to your mobile phone.
If you want to use another source face image or another target video, just run the related step and upload the new files, then run steps 4 and 5.
If you are finished, You must disconnect from google colab
from side menu tap "runtime"
then tap "disconnect and delete runtime"
and tap "yes"
